WE HAVE OWNED CHESAPEAKE BAY RETRIEVERS FOR THE LAST EIGHTEEN YEARS. THEY ARE THE PERFECT BREED FOR OUR FAMILY & SPORTING LIFESTYLE. I GOT MY MY FIRST CHESAPEAKE BECAUSE I GOT SICK OF WATCHING MY DUCKS FLOAT AWAY ON THE COLUMBIA RIVER. MY PAST SPRINGER & GERMAN SHORTHAIR JUST WERE NOT TOUGH ENOUGH TO WITH STAND THE COLD WATER. CHESAPEAKES ARE VERY HARDY SPORTING DOGS, GREAT FAMILY DOGS & WATCHDOGS.

SOCIALIZING AT A YOUNG AGE HELP GUARANTEE YOU HAVE AN ADULT CHESSIE WITH A GOOD HEALTHY ATTITUDE. DOGS OF ANY BREED THAT ARE AFRAID OF STRANGERS AND OTHER DOGS WILL BE A PROBLEM THAT MAY LEAD TO UNPREDICTABLE BEHAVIOR.

WE ARE STRIVING TO BREED THE BEST CONFORMATION QUALITY CHESAPEAKES & DESIRE TO KEEP THE "HUNT" IN THE CHESAPEAKE BREED. AS A AVID HUNTER I DESIRE A CHESAPEAKE THAT IS A RETRIEVING MACHINE, YET PLEASING TO THE EYE.
OUR CHESAPEAKES INCLUDE CONFORMATION CHAMPIONS, HUNT TEST TITLED, TRAINED WORKING RETRIEVERS & FAMILY DOGS. WE COMPETE IN AKC CONFORMATION & HUNT TEST EVENTS.
